The Road Ahead program has various links to the Curriculum:

Helmets;

Air bags;
Seat belts; and
Truck related technology.

Mathematics (Measurement):

Spatial awareness;
Reaction times; and
Stopping distances.

Health:

Driver fatigue; and
Road Safety.

Society and Environment:

The importance of the trucking industry to our lifestyles and economy;
Jobs in the industry; and
Fuel sources.

The Road Ahead also aims to expose students to a range of employment options beyond school. Consequently, high schools have found that our program fits into their Personal Learning Plan (PLP) courses.
